“Practice virtue , Preserve in virtue! Become established in virtue. Shine as an embodiment of noblest virtue and heroic adherence to goodness. Youth is meant for this grand process. Youth life is the active development and fulfillment of these processes.”

-Swami Vivekananda

Youth is the age when the discoveries are inbuilt. Youth is a driving force which can bring ample changes in positive and negative form. The youth age is very important for contributing potential innovations and creativites for the upliftment of the nation and to bring laudable outcomes. Today’s world is full of creative challenges and opportunities to conquer them, it is the youth only who can convert those hopes into reality. The role of youth is of utmost importance in today’s time.  It can play a vital role in the elimination of terrorism which is the need of the hour, young participation is important because youth are the country’s strength.

If the youth are awakened and standup for their rights they can bring tremendous change in their lives and in the lives of others too. No country can develop itself if the youth is lethargic, uneducated and undisciplined because the foundation  of  a  good future is laid down only by the youth by their positive contributions to the society. Youth is wholly experimental and utilize their talents through which any nation can become a Developed Nation.  Thus, we can say youth is like fire which can change the shape of a Gold biscuit into attractive ornaments.

As per the Indian scenario, our country is a developing country fighting with poverty, unemployment and various other ills since time immemorial. India has been running on developing tracks since Independence but still the roots of  poverty, corruption, unemployment and starvation are so deep that no leaders and even the social awareness movements have been successful in eradicating these core issues. Our government has always been under the hands of aged people who were quite unsuccessful in removing the hindrances on the way of development. Therefore, it is not wrong to say that the present scenario can be totally made favorable if youth come forward.

Young people possess energy, which if channelized in the right direction, can be very effective. Whereas,  misguided youth may do greater harm to the society than even the worst enemy can do.   Moreover, it is on the shoulders of the young that the future of  our nation rests because they represent new values, new ideas and the new ways of life.

The youth can play an important role without fear due to political freedom on the one hand and by playing the role of bringing peace and harmony among the people of India. Political freedom gives duties as well as responsibilities these are more important as the case of India because we want to be free from poverty, disease and all types of divisive forces. Our political freedom must create conditions not only for better life but also for the peace for the rest of the world. The youth of India should be inspired with these ideas and make them as popular with the people as it is possible.

Society should mold itself according to the innovative scientific thinking of young because it is difficult for the older generation to have new refreshing ideas. The young always look with hope and confidence to the future.  They have the spirits to work among the masses and also give a sense of direction for others to follow. Since the day the Indian Constitution came into existence many freedom rights and privileges have been enshrined in the Constitution itself.

In fact the older generations being hardened in their thinking, so it is difficult for them to adopt a new path. The faith of the young people is never so rigid. They can adopt, modify and change their ideas according to the demand of the circumstances. Thus, the youth of India should take their responsibility on their shoulders.

The great ideas enshrined in our culture will help us to set the energies of the nation in proper direction so if the younger generation does not take up this challenge they would end up as the enemies of the future.

The youth of India should try to give a practical shape to the ideals of democracy which have been kept before us. An ordinary person is not adventurous enough to take up the challenges to adopt certain ideas which may be good for the nation. Generally, the actions of the individual are guided by the normal way of thinking and also by the normal conventions. It is only the youth who can accept unconventional ideas with spirit of enthusiasm.

Various social movements which seems to be the basis of progress need the help of younger generation. India is wedded to the policy of industrial development, but no industry can make progress till the men are properly trained and technologists help in the development of the industrial complex of the country. Only the new generation can help. It may also be understood that the world is standing on the threshold of the supreme catastrophe of measureless record. It is the youth, who can give appropriate direction to these forces and put them on the right path there by converting anticipated destruction into development.

In the light of the above facts it is not wrong to say that younger generation in India has always been depending upon the older generation but they are now in a position to prove and perform better.  The younger generation can give proper shape and  form to the policies for a better tomorrow.

Hence, the youth in India, should now, seize the opportunities for the betterment of the country by their positive contribution with new enthusiasm and energy.

Feeling energized, do share this positive message…
