Sometimes you fixed yourself down in the dumps or low spirit.

Just because you wake up grumpy doesn’t mean you have to stay in a bad mood. Or, just because you are nervous about something, doesn’t mean you can’t calm yourself down.

It is important to remember that you are worthy of embracing in spite of your struggle and that you are worth fight for! 

In times of turbulence the structure and flow of our daily life shifts, we are escorted into a new beginning.

  1. Be the boss of your thoughts-

A twinkling mood booster is to stop the negative self- talk and replace it with a kinder possibility. You can learn to defiance the stories that play out in your head, to create a pause between thought and action in order to create a more positive life and boost your mood up again.

If you are in crisis you can learn to challenge fear and learn new patterns of behaviour, all because you build up the habit of being the boss of your thoughts. This is equivalent to inserting a new disc into the video player of the mind.

You will also realize in a practical and direct manner that your thoughts are creative and possess the power to affect your life.


  1. Go to a happy place-

For me, its an orphanage. Whenever I felt low or grumpy, I used to went orphanage.

When you share your time with the innocent kids who do not know what is love and care of parents than you will realize the true meaning of happiness that they share with you.

It does not only delight you and your soul but also, let them feel and experience the pleasant and joyous moments. Further, it doubles your happiness and half their pain, sorrow and boredom. By doing so, you just simply observing the inner happiness that relaxes your soul anyway! 

It doesn’t think so, there would be any way to lift your sadness into happiness than this. Not only this, but you may also start taking step towards humanity too. You’ll start taking care of other’s happiness, other smiles. And this should be one of the mirths that lift your mood towards positivity.


  1. Slow down and simplify-

Keep your face to the sunshine and you cannot see a shadow.

Life doesn’t have to be perfect to be beautiful and neither do you. Learn to embrace imperfection to improve your mood long-term.

These simple living tips for the stressed out or the recovering perfectionist are a good starting place to begin this journey.

Slow down, offer yourself permission to rest or lower your standards for a bit where you’re able until you come back up for air.

We all wish we had superpowers. We all wish we could do more than we can do.

When you feel grumpy, distract yourself. This trick will be tougher to implement because when we are down, that is where we are: down. We don’t want to do anything. Do something anyway!

Just force yourself into an activity that you know will uplift you. Watch television, play a game, call a friend, read a book, take a walk or you can dance like nobody’s is watching.

You may have heard that depressed people use television as a diversion. Well, we are not talking exclusively about diversion but television can aid in boosting your happy hormones all the same and one more thing, there’s nothing worse than listening to depressing music during low moments.

Yes! You might feel lonely and use sad music as a harmonic buddy. But its a trap literally! Instead, listen to upbeat music, listen to tunes that make you want to dance, that makes you want to move around, they will boost your morale. Anyway! Everything is well when morale is well.


  1. Appreciating away-

Perhaps the corniest suggestion in this bunch. It’s often seen as cool – or funny – to go around complaining and being a bit negative about everything.

Going around appreciating isn’t that cool. But generally, I’d say that almost everyone likes and finds a positive person to be cool.

Do whatever you enjoy doing most! Because you know yourself the best.

And a very effective way to become a more positive person and to enjoy your life more is simply to develop a habit of appreciating more.

If you want a few suggestions, here are a few of the things that I like to appreciate: my food, clothes, music, everything. The funny thing is that if you just start appreciating something you can very quickly start jumping around with your attention and appreciate just about anything around you. You may start with the food you are eating right now.

Then move your attention to the phone and appreciate that you can contact anyone – and be contacted by anyone – you’d like. You might then move your attention outside, through the window and see the wonderful sunshine, then kids having fun with a football and then a really attractive person walking by.
